We’ve officially broken ground on a new side of Centerra. Introducing a new community by McWhinney coming summer 2021.
Kinston is a new village coming to Centerra. And it’s a direct response to Northern Colorado’s desire for something fresh in the way of home and community design. From day one, Kinston will be different from everything else in the region.
So let’s rethink the whole idea of town. Let’s hop on a bike and leave the car in the garage. Let’s invite people from all walks and every stage of life. Let’s get back to the things that matter. To beauty. And craft. And real community.
Centerra is many things. Located in Loveland where I-25 intersects Highway 34, it’s a true regional hub. Northern Colorado’s go-to spot for shopping, dining, art and entertainment. It’s the workplace of more than 8,000 employees and home to over 150 companies. It is also Colorado’s first and only Certified Community Wildlife Habitat*, a place of lakes, miles of trails and nature. And living in Kinston, on the rising ground just east of I-25, you’ll be right at the heart of it all.

Welcome to Northern Colorado, an energetic mix of college, commerce and culture. The population is growing and the economy is grooving. People and companies are moving here from all over, bringing with them the desire for new kinds of homes and a fresh take on town living.
We introduced Centerra about two decades ago with the vision of creating a true centerpiece for Northern Colorado. A place that would bring people together for work and play and lunch and school and date nights and nature walks and, well, a little of everything. Since then our community vision has both broadened and sharpened. We understand that human needs and lifestyle choices are evolving rapidly. And we’re bringing to Centerra insights we’ve gained from our work on places like Union Station and the Dairy Block in Denver, and from transforming places along the front range. Insights and experience about blending town and community. Nature and human connections. And the very notion of a balanced life well lived.
